Reem Mostafa, Keeping Fit

Most of the world’s cinema stars appear on the screen looking astonishing good with a perfect body.  But not all of their fans know how much effort and sometimes pain the stars have to suffer through to keep their great looks.
Reem Mostafa who holds a Bachelor’s degree in media and mass comis one of the fastest rising TV and movie stars. She is not only a talented actress with great looks but also full of energy and fit enough to play any action rolls that requires fitness and stamina.

Sports & Fitness magazine spend a day with Reem at the gym where the fitness pro and TV star Nour Khattab was helping her to keep fit and the magazine conducted the following interview.

How and when did you start acting? 

I started 3 years ago, through a friend who offered me to do a screen test on OSN on a TV programme. All I wanted was to stand in front of the camera and feel what it is was like, I wanted to act not present TV programme. Then, I went to Ahmed Helmy's new movie audition and I decided to test myself and make sure if I'm really talented or its just a dream! Only then I discovered I really love it and that's my dream.


I refused to be an advertisement model. I wanted to be an actress not a model, a week later I received the script of Heba Regl el3'orab and I was extremely happy to play Perry's character in the series and the journey started. 

What is your next movie or TV series?

I receive many scripts, but I'm in a very critical period in my career as I'm trying to be very selective what to present to my fans. I don't want to be in just anything.  Yet I'm deciding which to accept! I took a break from the TV series till I get the feedback on Saraya Abdeen and also would love to do cinema but nothing is confirmed yet. 


Who is your role model?

All successful actors are my role model each in his way and his area, no one in particular is my role model.

What type of sports have you played and are you still playing?

I used to swim and play volleyball when I was a child, but the thing I enjoy most is aerobics and dancing classes, one of my targets is to learn different types of dancing such as salsa and tango. 

When did you start fitness training and why?

I started two years ago and I found out that fitness is not only about my shape or appearance, it's also affecting my mood , health and energy level. It's also very important to maintain the shape of my body
 

 

How many times per week do you work out?

Three times a week fitness classes

How does having good fitness help in your career?
It's helps by bringing me relief from the stress of acting, Also a good shape and health is very important in my career.


What is your eating regime?

I hate eating schedules and regimes so I decided to eat whatever I want at the right times. It became a habit that I eat only healthy food, three meals without junk food at least. 
 

How much can a good personal trainer help people to overcome their downs during hard training?

The good personal trainer is one who understands his clients and who has the tolerance and understanding of the client’s life style, job and psychology yet he can encourage and motivate his client

I have to say that Nour Khattab is a very kind person by nature, excellent in his job. He is very keen and passionate about his work and his clients that's why he succeeded with all of the super stars he works with. He became part of my life as a friend not only a personal trainer
