BMW Launches Ne Mini Cooper In Egypt

The Red Sea Resort of Ein Sukhna saw the country launch for Egypt of the newest model in the Mini Cooper series, the Mini Countryman on the 12th of November. The Mini Countryman follows on the success of the classic Mini two-door, the MINI Clubman
and the MINI Convertible for the Bavarian Auto Group (BAG), the strong Egyptian arm of BMW.
Four seems to be a lucky number for the Mini Countryman. It comes in a 4 x 4 configuration with four seats totaling a length of four meters. There are also four models available:
• MINI Cooper Countryman Comfort Line
• MINI Cooper Countryman Elite Line
• MINI Cooper S Countryman All 4
• MINI Cooper S Countryman Front Line
MINI Countryman is available in 2X4 and 4X4 models with a wide range of signature colours in order to meet all tastes. MINI Countryman is also loaded with many luxurious options such as a panoramic roof, 6 speed gearbox, leather seats and the latest safety options.
The MINI Countryman will also be the basis on which MINI makes a comeback to the world of Motorsport. Competition has always been an important interest for MINI fans the world over, therefore, it was recently announced that MINI will re-join the world rally circuit. Based on the MINI Countryman our challenger will be the first World Rally Car designed by MINI for the World Rally Championship since 1967, it will be the rally car to watch out for. The car will developed by British rally legend, Prodrive and will be powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine built by BMW Motorsport. It will run in selected rounds of the FIA World Rally Championship season in 2011 before a full assault on the Championship in 2012. It will also be available to private Rally teams as of next year.
