For the fifth time, Alamia Publishing & Advertising company organised the Formula Free Style auto-test style race as one of the main attractions of the Formula Al-Ahram Motor and Boat Show.
Track route designer ‘Mohamed El Sawy’ designed a track with a new concept for 2011 that combined some speed sectors as well as preserving the personality and spirit of such a unique race.
Drift and free style performances took place during the race, headed by stunt driver and Autocross 3-time ‘Champ of Champions’, Amr McGyver.
Two races were held through the weekend of 14th to 15th January. Both races witnessed strong competition, mainly between the
cars suited for such a demanding course.
Shady Ossama managed to keep the ‘FreeStyler’ title, winning both races and adding his third and fourth consecutive wins for
this race, while rising star Karim Shlash got second place on day 1, Hussam Gamal managed to finish third on day 1, and second on day 2, Medhat Ramadan showed up for the second race to complete the podium of day 2.
