18th Cairo International Motor Show (Formula Al Ahram 2011) with a new slogan:
You Have The Dream…We Offer The Future
The 18th Cairo International Motor Show (Formula Al Ahram 2011) Opened on the 12th of January 2011 and was honoured by the presence of H.E. Rashid Mohamed Rashid, Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade and Safwat El Sherif, President of Shoura Council, who cut the opening ribbon in front of all of the auto companies’ chairmen and many well known business men.
The event took place at the Cairo International Conference Centre, (CICC) from 12th to 16th January 2011 with total area of more than 35,000 square metres in 11 indoor halls and was visited by more than 350,000 automobile fans.
The show is organized by Art Line for Organising International Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with Al Ahram Establishment and AMC Promotion, the organizer of Paris International Motor show. The event was also supported by the Egyptian Automobile Manufacturers Association (EAMA), Egyptian Auto Feeders Association, (EAFA) and the Automobile and Touring Club of
Egypt (ATCE). It was internationally certified by OICA and UFI.
This round of show witnessed a great number of participating exhibitors from all automotive fields and included the new agents
and brand names in the Egyptian market such as Jaguar, Volvo, SAIPA and many more.In addition,, many banks had great auto loans offers for new buyers which supported car sales figures in the Egyptian market.
There was also a 4 X 4 hall which saw tough competition between all its participating companies and a light commercial vehicles hall as well.
Many passenger cars Companies held press conferences to launch their new models, as more the 38 2011 models were presented
officially for the first time in a motor show.
The Auto Tech Hall held huge number of participating companies in the spare parts, petroleum products, accessories, service stations tools, feeding industries products, etc.

Future Egyptian Micro Bus designs projects were presented by the youth Egyptian designers which found great support of all interested specialists. Free Style championship came back this round of the show to support motor sport activities of the show, and Classic cars showed more than 20 classic cars manufactured between 1927 and 1970 which was supported by ATCE.
The large media campaign advertised and covered the show using all media communications methods; newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, outdoor billboards, SMS shots, websites, and more. Great surprises were presented to the visitors at the show and this edition figures as one of the most successful rounds in this millennium.
